Praia dos Tesos — Attraction in Tavira

What a place!!

This beach is truly stunning, Crystal clear waters with an added bonus of experiencing something completely majestic... Sandbanks appearing at low tide!!!

Found this place randomly looking across Google maps and boy am I glad we did, so much so we've been twice!!

Our first time there we enjoyed the waters and Swam lots, then we watched and marvelled as these Sandbanks appeared out of nowhere.. Honestly its the coolest thing walking on these, knowing that 2 hours ago this was all covered in water and now you can walk on this.

When the tide is out you can almost reach the boats In the middle by foot, when the tide is in fully you can still explore up to waist height quite far.

A hidden gem ❤️ We drove there by accident, as the SatNav took us the wrong way. But we were so glad it did! The beach is never really crowded, generally it's full of locals and people coming there to enjoy the clear water and lovely sandy beach. Pitch at the back of the beach to avoid the tide and soak up the wonderful atmosphere. Wholeheartedly recommended... nós amamos...

Its a awesome small sea beach just beside the main one. Although cant go to main big one, need to ga back main city to buy billet for ferry to go main beach. But from this beach can sunset and take a bath with family. Clean water and windy environment makes this place fantastic. Sad, shop nearby only Continente few KM's away...
