Nice cliff beach that’s less crowded than the others. Seems like it’s become more crowded though over time. It is a “nudist” beach but nearly everyone kept their suits on—probably because there were some creepy old dudes there on multiple days that kinda ruin things. For instance, a lady would take her top off and some creepy dude would move to the rocks behind her and start touching himself. It was bizarre. He started to do it behind me and my GF but we just kinda stared at him like WTF? and he went away. Couldn’t believe it would happen on a beach here. On another day, a lady noticed it was happening and told the guy to f*** off. He then left only to peer down on the beach from the top of the cliff. It’s a nice beach though when there’s no weirdos. 🤷♂️

HOW TO REACH THE BEACH: Put the beach on google maps in order to get you to a parking lot (I attach photos). There is a small pedestrian path to follow but at a certain point you have to climb over the fence and continue on the dirt road (I marked the pedestrian path in RED on the map, the YELLOW POINT where you have to climb over and in BLUE the dirt path). As soon as you find some stairs you have to follow them in order to get to the beach. The stairs are located near a warning sign. It is not very difficult to get to the beach but you absolutely have to use shoes or sandals, no flip flops or Birkenstock because it slips easily and the path is very steep and dangerous.

Truly magical, a spacious beach that’s easier to get to than some of the others that require a hike. You’ll have to jump the boardwalk to reach the path but you’ll find the route easily from the location Google maps takes you to. The view from above is incredible but so is the beach itself. Surrounded by rocks, the center is soft sand and very spacious. We felt safe leaving our belongings with other beach goers as we explored the beautiful rocks that border it. The sunset from the top is magical.

This is a stunning and pristine public beach. You can access it either via Praia do Mos which has more infrastructure or you can off-road down the cliff path for quicker access. I climbed down and up the cliff path at 6 months pregnant with little discomfort, but I recommend only trying this if you are a steady and confident hiker. Once down below you'll find a very clean and serene beach experience! Enjoy it and take care of it! {note: although I am a local guide I am an American tourist}

Incredible beach but the path to get there is a bit dangerous so be careful. Pack light and probably best to wear something other than flip flops. A lot of thr path is a steep dirt track that you get to by diverting from the wooden pathway. Google maps doesn't show the correct route and there is no car access but a small car park nearby. You'll see a dirt path going away from the wooden path, that's where you go! Stunning beach though and well worth the trek down to enjoy it.

DO NOT JUST TRY TO SCRAMBLE DOWN TO THIS BEACH! There is a specific staircase, trying to get down your own way is impossible and dangerous - once you go down through the gap in the wooden walkway, go along to the right until you reach the green metal fence, and towards the cliff edge you will see a warning sign. The staircase is just to the right of the sign (see photos). Fantastic peaceful nudist beach for sunbathing and swimming, despite rocks and seaweed.
