Absolutely Stunning! A Must-Visit in Doha!

If you're in Qatar and haven't visited Mina District at Old Doha Port, you're seriously missing out! This place is vibrant, colorful, clean, and full of life — truly a picture-perfect waterfront destination!

🚶‍♂️ Activities & Atmosphere: There’s always something going on — occasional street shows, pop-up stalls, live music, and family-friendly vibes. It’s great for an evening walk or weekend outing.

🐠 Aquarium at The City Gallery: Yes, there’s a mini aquarium! Beautiful marine life on display — kids will love the stingrays, reef fish, and even tiny sharks! There are also interactive displays and exhibits about Qatar’s culture.

️️🛍️ Shopping: Lots of boutiques and stores including Souvenir Shops, Concept Stores, Qatari-themed gift shops, and even quirky pop-up brands. Don’t miss Flat White Specialty Coffee, Dari Cafe, or the cute local dessert kiosks!

🍽️ Restaurants & Cafes: You’ll be spoiled for choice here! Some great spots include:

Eli France Café – cozy vibe with delicious desserts

L’wzaar Seafood Market – if you’re into fresh seafood

Chapati & Karak – Qatari-style tea and snacks

Volume Café – trendy and Insta-worthy

🚗 Parking: Plenty of free and organized parking, both open and shaded — you’ll never struggle to find a spot!

🚻 Clean Washrooms: Public washrooms are well-maintained and conveniently located.

Bonus Points:

Bike rentals and scooter zones

Beautiful sunset views by the marina

Close to Box Park, another colorful container-style hangout spot

Verdict: This place checks every box – family-friendly, romantic, cultural, and fun! Perfect for tourists, expats, and locals alike. Whether you're here to stroll, shop, eat, or chill by the beach – you’ll love it!

The Old Port in Doha is one of the most beautiful spots in the city, and it becomes even more magical as the sun begins to set. The golden light reflecting on the water, the traditional boats docked in the marina, and the elegant promenade make it the perfect place for a relaxed evening stroll.

What makes this place stand out is its peaceful, welcoming atmosphere and the variety of things to do at a leisurely pace. You can meander along the wide promenade, lined with palm trees and stylish lighting, with plenty of benches and seating areas to pause and enjoy the views.

There’s a fantastic range of cafés, restaurants, and dessert spots – including excellent ice cream from places like Gelati Dino – as well as shops selling souvenirs, gifts, and local crafts. Whether you’re in the mood for a sit-down dinner, a sweet treat, or just browsing, there’s something for everyone.

A nice bonus is the availability of golf buggies that shuttle people up and down the promenade. They’re convenient and free to use, especially helpful if you’re with young children, elderly visitors, or just want a relaxed ride along the waterfront.

Whether you’re a local or a tourist, the Old Port is a must-see in Doha. It combines traditional charm with a modern, thoughtfully designed environment that makes you want to stay longer. Don’t miss it – especially...

Old Doha Port Old Doha  Port is strategically located in the coast of Qatar and the Arabian Gulf. The Port is adjacent to the center of Doha, close to airports and iconic tourism facilities such as the Museum of Islamic Art and the National Museum of Qatar. The redevelopment of the Port has created a new heart of Doha combining a cruise terminal, yacht marina, luxury hotels, hotel and residential apartments, boutiques, restaurants and entertainment in a waterfront promenade. Mosanada provide all FM service to the new Port including FM consultancy at design stages, preparation for handover/takeover of facilities, commercial procurement of FM services, managing supply chain and O&M activities, and Operations of the Marina.
