One of the ends of this mountain trail is through people's yards and they didn't look very friendly. We didn't feel very safe passing through. I think it should be changed so that you feel safe and the locals don't feel their privacy invaded. The view is very beautiful on the way up. When you actually get to Cheile Feregari you can't see much cause of the trees but it's still beautiful to be that close to the mountain. Read moreCheile Feregari le-am perceput ca pe un simplu urcus de vreo 30 minute pe o panta cu inclinatie de vreo 35 grade, pe pietris de munte cu dese posibilitati de alunecare a picioarelor, indiferent de aderenta sau calitatea bocancilor (eu am bocanci profesionali), din cauza instabilitatii pietrisului de sub talpi (la inclinatia aia... e normal). In concluzie, ce se vede de jos, se vede si din chei. Google maps te duce sa parchezi intr-o curba, de unde incepi "ascensiunea" trecand printr-o "rezidenta de case tiganesti (mi s-au parut amabili) unde te intampina vreo 5 caini care isi apara teritoriul cu latratul lor, apoi dai de niste bolovani uriasi de munte pe care vei vedea bmarcaje (ba o bulina rosie ba una albastra). Cheile sunt de fapt o portiune dintr-un traseu comun catre mai multe obiective.
