We have stayed here for 3 night. We reserved 2 double rooms and an apartment. The apartment has a nice view of the mountains and the room have the view of a stone wall because there is an interior space for spending some time eating or chating each other. In the night there is silence across the street but there are thin walls that make you hear everything what your neighbours are talking. Beds are hard and pillows soft. Very white and clean bed, towels and room. Breakfast was good: omlette with ham and cheese, half a tomato, half of yellow pepper, some cucumber, eggplant salad and coffee (this is what we have chosen). It is very close to the new center of the city. It’s a pity that the old center was devastated....||Minuses: no air condition in the room, a little poor the wi-fi, there is a semi curtain in the bathroom, also poor ventilation.||Per total is a good...
Read moreWe've had a very unpleasant experience with this place, mostly due to the staff.|We had a room booked online, but when we arrived they looked for our reservation in a notebook and simply told us they can't find us in there and they don't have any room available. A person who appeared to be the owner came after a few minutes and decided to give us a room which was promised, apparently, to a friend of theirs.|The room had some issues too - there was dirt behind the toilet and in all room corners and we didn't have mountain view as they claim to have in all rooms.|Also, they stopped us from leaving in the morning until they checked if "everything is ok" in our room.|I wouldn't recommend this place - there certainly are...
Read moreThey have the parking place which is important in this town. The staff was friendly and prepared me the breakfast even at 6.00 a.m. before my leaving. Book the room not with the windows on the street. If you want to buy some food there are not any good shops close. I spend 2 days walking in the mountains. Trails are nice. You can buy the map of trails in the National Park Visitor Center. For me going to the center of Baile Herculane makes no sense. Very crowded, loud and many buildings in ugly communistic style. When you go for the trails in the mountains is different. You can walk on the trails meeting maximum 10 - 15 people during the day. Unfortunately sometimes it is easy to loose the trail because the signs are not...
