Park that can be reached from M station Constantin Brancoveanu. Orăşelul copiilor is the romanian for "Children small town" which is basically an attraction point for children and/or adults (adrenaline haters so to say): carrousells, a roller coaster, carting cars, a spinning wheel etc. There is even a train that gives you the tour of the " small town". If you have children, take them to Orăşelul copiilor and spoil them with cotton candy, ice cream or even McDonalds (which can be found right at the entrance); you'll surely smell it as soon as you get out of the M station. If you reach that point where you get sick of so much adrenaline, you can always take the children for a stroll into Tineretului park, by the lake. Orăşelul copiilor is basically incorporated into Tineretului park, or you could regard it as an extension of Tineretului and you can always change the fun for calmness...

I live near by. My kid is a regular. The park is better known as an amusement park, with rides and rollercoasters. These are not of the highest standard and pretty pricey, but it's nice to have something like this year-round. Similar to Pratter park in Vienna. The light posts are modern and cool but have very little output. This isn't an issue near the rides, but it other parts, it's almost moonlit. There are playgrounds pretty well equipped and varied. There's also a public indoor playground and a sports center. There's an interactive fountain that kids can use to Cool down in the summer. There's a big area for sunbathing. There are big sand pits and palms and showers. Partial nudity might be an issue.

The grass is well maintained but there are far too many ugly small metal fences...

This place is good for a short walk for my home proximity. But the facilities for todlers and children are laughable. Swing chains are already rusty, and the provisioned places for children are rarely checked for safety elements. They always find ways to water the grass by moving around water dispensers where they interfere with the publics movement, i guess they want to see if the bench wood will regrow branches cause they are drenched in water all day long.

There are some activities that you can do around the park if you want, and the wait times are minimal to non-existent. I go there twice a day and it is usually ok.

Would recommend the public institutions responsible for the park management get more involved and not spend public...

The place itself, not bad. However, we had a less than stellar experience. First, we arrived in the morning, a few minutes past opening. The employees were barely arriving and none of the rides were open. We thought to ourselves, ok, fair enough, middle of the week, early in the morning, we’ll just come back later. So that’s what we did, and came back at around 6 PM. Still, the place was mostly empty, more than half the rides were off and the ones that were open usually had too few people to actually start. Not the parks fault, just our experience. By the time we finished riding the few that were open, they started to close those as well. So basically, by 8 pm, the park went dark and we left. Maybe it’s busier on the weekends, I don’t know.

Great place to go with the kids or for a first date 😊, it has two roller coasters, two carousels and many other attractions for children of all ages. It is the best attraction park in Bucharest with a history of over 40 years. There are also places to eat, you can find many street food corners and a brewery, it is well mainteined with nice alleys, full of nature with evergreens all the way, a football court, it is indeed a magical place for the kids. There are entrance fees for the attractions but the access to the park is free of charge. The olny downside was the public restrooms which are horrible.

One big amusement park for kids. We tried the canal-ride with a motorboat (10 Lei/person - max 5 min ride), the bumpy cars (10 Lei/ 3 min ride), the octopussy monster cupcakes (5 Lei/person - 3 min ride) and the trampolin (10 Lei/person/5 min). There are lots of free playgrounds, tematic benches and a lot of photoshooting places. There are also many other payable amusements. No need to worry about eating and drinking within the park as beside popcorn and other fast food there are also some restaurants with good and affordable menus. Had a great time and we'll be back if possible.
