Drumul Taberei Park — Attraction in Bucharest

The Christmas fair in this park was very pretty. Lots of beautiful, warm lights, a long bridge that almost looked like the deck of a large ship. From up there, you could see the entire place lit up like a Christmas tree 🎄🥰 If you enjoy heights there is also a ferris wheel that offers a beautiful perspective of the city at night. There is also a place where you can skate. I didn't go myself, but I heard the entrance is free, you only have to pay for the skates. That's not a personally checked fact, so I am not entirely sure how it is. The park may he crowded since it's the holiday season and everyone wants to go out and enjoy the city but I never felt suffocated while walking around the alleys. The fair also hosts concerts and other such events. It has the food and mulled wine that everyone enjoys during this time of year. It has evolved over time. For many years it was a rather sad looking park. It was improved back in 2015 and luckily it's still pretty well kept. It can be overcrowded at times and empty and calm in some random moments of the day. The local police are usually patrolling it especially in the Summer. During the Holiday Season it is nicely decorated. For the life of me I can't comprehend why that communistic fountain in the middle of the lake has been preserved but the the stone stair over the lake have been demolished and replaced with wooden stairs that are especially slippery after only a light rain let alone snow or ice in the winter. Lipsa parcărilor: Pentru cei care vin cu mașina, zona poate fi dificilă din cauza lipsei locurilor de parcare, mai ales că este o locație foarte accesibilă. Spațiu limitat: Comparativ cu alte târguri mai mari din București, cel din Parcul Drumul Taberei este mai mic și poate părea modest pentru unii vizitatori.
