"I was thoroughly disappointed with my stay at the Orhideea Hotel in Bucharest. The hotel is located in a dirty and industrial area, which sets the tone for the rest of the experience. The entrance is uninviting, and guests must carry their luggage up the stairs. The staff are average at best, and they don't wear uniforms, making it difficult to distinguish them from guests. The hotel's design makes it difficult to find your way around, and there's no security or CCTV in the lifts and anyone can wander around in the building. The rooms are large but dated, with minimal furniture, which creates a depressing atmosphere. The rooms are poorly maintained, with cracked tiles, no shower curtains, and damaged fixtures. The kitchen is under-equipped and the coffee machine doesn't come with cups or glasses that fit under the spout, making it useless. The dining area has a raised table with stools that are too high, making it uncomfortable to eat. The L-shaped couch doesn't face the TV and lacks cushions and soft edges, making it feel like a few single beds pushed together. The spa is only available for an extra fee, which is disappointing as the swimming pool is included only with the spa package despite being plastered all over the advertising images . The breakfast buffet is hit-or-miss; mostly miss with varying offerings each day. The staff doesn't seem to be trained properly, as they often forgot to replenish items or provided low-quality food. One of the biggest issues was the lack of fitted sheets on the bed, which made it uncomfortable to sleep. We also discovered that someone had accessed our room while we were out because we didn't find the 'make my room' tag under the slippers in the entrance way to the room. I emailed the reception desk to ask for the manager's contact information before writing this review, but they didn't respond. The hotel's location is also inconvenient, with a bus stop only going in one direction at the end of the industrial street but a 750 meter walk to catch a bus in the other direction, and no metro station nearby. The hotel claims to be 160m from Carrefour, but it's actually 750m away. Overall, I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel if you want a pleasant experience.

Hotel is very good. Rooms are more like spacious apartments, everything is very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast room is on 11th floor and has got nice view over the city. Breakfast it self is also very good and has got something for everyone. The Spa area is also very good, but when first time I would recommend to have a look around first that you know where to find for example Salt room etc. Swimming pools are: one big depth 1.55m and small childrens pool and also one big Jacuzzi. Also there are many different kind of saunaa. And gym. Near the hotel you find Carrefour shopping mall with everything.

Плюсы: прекрасное месторасположение, удобные кровати и подушки, наличие мыльных пренадлежностей, по запросу предоставили утюг и гладильную доску, уборка номеров каждый день, халаты, одноразовые тапочки, фен, кухонная утварь предоставляется. Джакузи в одной из ванных комнат) Если у вас номер на верхних этажах то прекрасный вид на город. Парковка на территории резиденции бесплатно. В ресторане на 11 этаже прекрасный вид. На завтраках постоянно имеется красная рыба, мед в сотах, куарасаны, омлет говорят по вашему желанию. Минусы: Стол в номере с барными стульями, за которым не возможно сидеть (или стулья не под этот стол или стол не под эти стулья), микроволновка старая, работает через раз, плита не включается нормально. За 2 недели нашего прибывания гель для душа и туалетную бумагу пополнили один раз. В салоне диван уж очень не удобный и был пропален сигаретой. В ресторане завтрак однообразный. Справа и с лева комплекса жилые дома, с одной квартиры с 9 или 10 этажа, выпускали дрон, который летал и наблюдал за квартирами резиденции... Ковидные меры: антисептик был лишь в лифте, в ресторане на 11 этаже пытаются соблюдать антиковидные меры, шведский стол обслуживают официанты которые сами накладывают вам, то что вы им скажете, но кофемашинкой, тостером пользуются все в порядке очереди, соки посетители тоже наливают сами, антисептиков в ресторане нет, людей полно, дистанцию ни кто не соблюдает. Единственный плюс это то что свой завтрак вы можете взять себе в номер. Спа закрыто, можно заказать лишь массаж. В тренажёрном зале тренировки разрешены лишь с тренером, за отдельную плату.

Pro: What a comforting experience we had at this stay, best in Bucharest! The reception staff is helpful, the room was big&clean, features and amenities, a plus! Not so pro: Too bad we couldn't enjoy the spa, due to being shut , and the breakfast was preety terrible also. Cold omelettes and the staff very rude&passive aggressive when we asked for our cold food to be swapped, also they added the wrong ingredients in the omelets ! Tho the restaurant food was super delicios!

In my opinion it is a very overpriced and overhyped hotel. The rooms were huge, but not very furnitured or with many amenities and certain things were falling apart as they were taped with double tape (fire alarm, shower gel support). There were only two small elevators for 11 floors so tge wait was quite long sometimes. The breakfast options were quite basic and lacking a big variety. The spa was okey, the jacuzzi was not working however. The staff was nice tho.

Keine Ahnung, was einige erwarten, wenn sie nach Rumänien kommen. Das Hotel steht halt in Bukarest, in einem Land, wo arm und reich sehr nah beieinander liegen. - um zum Hotel zu kommen fährt man schon allein durch eine Straße, die gewöhnungsbedürftig ist. Wie alle Nebenstraßen hier. - die Appartements sind wirklich sehr groß, gestört hat mich das nicht. - das Apartment verfügte über 2 Klimaanlagen - der Ausblick in den oberen Stockwerken ist toll, gerade abends im dunkeln. - der Frühstücksraum bzw. das Restaurant sind im obersten Stockwerk. Beim Frühstück über die ganze Stadt schauen, war nicht das dümmste. - das Frühstück war reichhaltig und mit leichten Abwechslungen, mir hat es vollkommen gereicht - das längste warten am Fahrstuhl, zu stark frequentierten Frühstückszeit betrug 2min. - im Appartement und in den Badezimmern war alles vorhanden, was man braucht - der Spa Bereich ist Extraklasse! Das normale Schwimmbecken ist schon sehr angenehm warm. Es gibt Rotlichtliegen und Sitzgelegenheiten. Der Fire&Ice Bereich hat 3 verschieden temperierte Saunen und danach kann man sich mit Crushed Eis abreiben oder ein Fußbad nehmen, toll! - das Personal war bei mir sehr freundlich - die 100€ Kaution bekam ich bei Abreise sofort zurück Das einzig negative war, dass das Hotel ein paar hundert Meter neben einem Wärmekraft steht und die Turbinen doch zu hören sind.
