Orhideea Spa — Attraction in Bucharest

Orhideea Spa is like stepping into a water park instead of a serene spa retreat. My recent experience there was far from enjoyable. I had been looking forward to a relaxing day, but it turned out to be quite the opposite. One of the most surprising things was that they placed the pool and jacuzzi right next to the kids' pool – something I had never encountered before.

The noise level was off the charts; it was impossible to have a peaceful moment. Children were splashing around in the jacuzzi, meanwhile, others were causing chaos in the main pool, disregarding the signs that clearly stated jumping wasn't allowed. What was particularly disappointing was the lack of intervention from the staff to address the chaos.

In an attempt to find some quiet, we went t another area with some beds. However, our efforts were in vain when a cleaning lady insisted on keeping the door open at all times, depriving us of any chance for quiet relaxation. It felt disrespectful to all the guests who were seeking a peaceful experience.

Needless to say, this experience left a sour taste, and I have no intention of returning to Orhideea Spa. If relaxation is what you're after, you're better off staying at home – it'll be far more enjoyable than enduring the chaos at...

I’m giving the 4 star only for the quality of massage which was great. We had a Lomi lomi massage and both the girl and the boy were great. The girl even insisted on my back since it was clearly tensed and that was great.

The downside was the fact that no one explained where things were and what to expect: how do you get the champagne and chocolate, where the areas with entrance included where. On top of that, the music stopped during the massage and never started again. On the buffet where the glasses are stored, at -2 level, there was a Cockroach running around and no one killed it, and another one dead on the floor. I’m sorry I didn’t had my phone with me for taking pictures. It was really disturbing and disgusting since the health measures in a place like this, where you rely on the staff paying attention to the hygiene, seem to be ignored. We will clearly avoid coming back or recommending this place...

We recently visited the spa for a couple’s massage and opted for the Wellbeing Massage for 2, which included champagne. It was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! The ambiance was peaceful and relaxing, setting the perfect tone for our session.

Our therapists, Ionut and his colleague (whose name I regretfully forgot), were exceptional. They were not only highly professional but also incredibly friendly, making us feel completely at ease. Their skill and technique were truly outstanding — we both agreed it was the best massage we’ve ever had. They truly have golden hands!

We left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated, and we will definitely be coming back in the future. Highly recommend this spa for anyone looking for a top-tier...
