Detunata Park — Attraction in Cluj Metropolitan Area

Detunata park is like a oasis in the concrete jungle. The park is quite big for a neighborhood park. You can find ping-pong tables, a small basketball field, drinkable water fountain, tables and benches, chess tables and quite many alleys to walk on. You can also find synthetic and natural football fields nearby the park and you might enjoy watching a free football match. There is a kindergarten nearby the park. There is a board with all types of bird species observed and found in the park. During summer you might see people suntanning and in the winter kids enjoying and laughing while riding their sleigh. It's a beautiful park to take a little walk in. You can see squirrels playing or listen to the birds singing and if you bring a hammock you can relax there without anyone disturbing you.

The only thing which can be irritating is the fact that there is a children playground in the upper section of the park and it can be annoying if you are looking for a quiet place to relax.

Also, even if there is a track for bikes or rollerskates, it's badly made. There are cracks in the asphalt which could easily mess you up

To sum up, I only recommend this park if you don't mind children's yelling and if you want a place to hang up...
