My Thai in Cluj Napoca is without a doubt the best Asian restaurant in town. The opening of this restaurant has filled a much-needed gap in the local dining scene, and I couldn't be happier about it.

The combo menus we ordered were a culinary delight. Each dish was a revelation, with vibrant, fresh, and perfectly balanced flavors.

Every bite was an explosion of taste that left us wanting more. The standout, however, was a soup that featured fresh Lion's Mane mushrooms.

This was a pleasant surprise, as it's not something you typically find in many restaurants. The mushroom added a unique texture and flavor to the soup that was simply divine.

To accompany our meal, we tried a few of the recommended teas. Each one was a perfect blend of aroma and taste, making them the perfect complement to our meal. The teas were so good, in fact, that we found ourselves ordering seconds!

This was by far the best culinary experience I had in Cluj this year. The food is very delicate and tasty. I had the rib steak (rare), which comes with steam cooked rice and stir fried veggies. It was excellent! The steak melts in your mouth and the rice and veggies with a variety of authentic Thai sauces are the perfect complement for a really satisfying meal. The stir fried veggies, by far the best I had in a very long time on both sides of the ocean. For dessert I had the deep fried banana with caramel sauce and a very delicate HOMEMADE ice cream. I rarely have dessert at restaurants anymore and this came highly recommended. I'm glad I decided to try it out, because it was fantastic! The ice cream was very delicate. The restaurant was very clean. Loved the ambiance of the place. Customer service was amazing. We had 2 thai teas, water, chicken spring rolls, chicken skewers, and 2 curry dishes. Food came out fast, and the pricing was reasonable compared to how much we would've spent in Italy or the US. Will definitely come back again.

UPDATE: We spent Valentines weekend in Cluj and came to the restaurant three times. On the third visit, we definitely won't be back. I love the food, but the staff is utterly gross. There was one waiter who was coughing up a lung. The individual would either cough in their hand and not wash, or they would openly cough in the air. Being in the food industry, this is very disgusting and unsanitary. If you're sick, please don't come to work or at least practice the proper protocols like washing your hands, covering your mouth with a napkin, or something.
