The name is a bit of a misnomer, it really is a county museum with a bit of everything, indeed most of the exhibits are related to Dacian and Roman culture, but there is also a natural history segment, quite a bit of art on display, several temporary exhibitions
Curation could be improved on some segments, but for the 4 euro price of admission you will definitely get your money's worth and even more so if you like archeology. Most of the exhibition has English translation and the location in this old palace adds a different vibe to the visit
I found the personnel quite non intrusive but helpful when needed, really felt like I had the whole place for myself and you can take as many pictures you like

There are many Hungarian historic figures who contributed significantly to the establishment of the historical building and museum itself, yet there are no Hungarian informations available at all.
