Felix Water Park — Attraction in Oradea Metropolitan Area

More negative than positive! It has been years since I left the country and got used to different values. If you live in Ro and have the same “before89” values system skip the review! You’ll find it “tupeist” or better said gutsy!

Pay at the entrance required fee! No multiple entries allowed under the same tiket! When asked why, easy frank answer: how would we be able to sell food and drinks, souvenirs and etc in order to make some profit??!

Get in, good luck finding a covered area in order to avoid the burning sun on a hot summer day. Wanna get a spot? Wake up early and be there by 9.30-ish am.

Waves pool and water slides schedule is pretty off. First, both run every couple of hours. Slides for about 30minutes, waves for about 15. Well this is the theory. It has been my second day, no waves that I have seen, and slides schedule is a mess. They don’t post required height/age in order to be able to use the slides. Go up, wait 20 minutes then come back down on stairs because if you are a child and don’t have their required age you will not be allowed to go down the slides. My son came down crying because they would not let him on( he is 7) . As an adult I go up , with my son, and get 2 different answers to my required age question. You have to be 7 and accompanied by an adult in order to go down the green slide, or 10 to be able to go alone on the blue one. 5 minutes later, another ansewer : you gotta be 8 or respectively 12! Nice

Let’s give them some profit and get some food! Between 12-4 wait about 30 min minimum in a huge line in order to choose from the leftover food. Not too expensive, not too cheap, not too much to choose from when you are about to order. Made plans to order thing 1, thing 2, thing 3??? Oh.... for thing 1 you gotta wait another 15 minutes . No matter how many times I have been ordering food, every SiNGLE time... there was a thing 1 missing. If not 1, then 2, if not 2 then 3 and so ON! Great!

Customer service: be ready to be welcome with a lot of rudeness and lack of respect! Few were the ones that really made you feel welcome and appreciate you as a customer. Most believe that you owe them something. Starting with security that patrols the pools and warns kids not to jump in pools, second time they curse you if you as a parent don’t warn your kids not to jump, continuing with the Betty Ice Cream lady who , when asked if she has any more ice cream in the back other than bubble gum and chocolate( the rest of containers, about 4, were all empty) gives you this: “ what do you think lady, that I’m gonna break my wrist trying to scoop out hard ice cream?!” “Excuse me, what?! I say....” what you hear... you need ice cream you wait 10-15 more mins in order to get it softer!!!” Excellent!!! First, this is not a retirement resort! Kids should be let to be kids! Second, bring some lifeguards! So many kids that are not able to swim but don’t have required protection. No one enforces the messages posted on signs! Other than jumping or consuming alcohol in the pool! If you consume it outside the pool, 1 meter away you are just fine, where is the logic?

6.want to take a hot shower at the end of the day?! Go inside and enjoy cold water!!

7.I could go on, but honestly I should just put on some blinders and survive 2 more days , my parents offered me and my family this short gettaway , however it can be called anyhow you want but not relaxing...

Disappointed! It sorta wants to be child friendly but it fails in so many ways. First of all for the little ones: no ramps for strollers, you cannot get in or out. Stroller must be lifted over the gate. Also, no changing table in restrooms. The kiddie pool is 2ft deep! Steps to get in. Zero depth entry is not a thing.

Second for the older kiddos: the water was so cloudy in the big pool and disgusting things floating around. I noticed that all babies were diaper-free and present in all pools. The slides were fun for the kids and the only place where there was a lifeguard.

Finally the DJ! Not sure if he wasn’t aware of the venue, but he constantly played music with foul language and inappropriate explicit lyrics. I get that it was in English but all kids know the swear words in English.

There are very nice water slides and the pools have thermal water with temperature from 24 degrees to 40 degrees. Therefore you have a lot of options. It's not very crowded, especially if you do not come in July or August and I really recommend not to come then because the water is to hot for the outside temperature.
