Pamyatnik Bagrationu — Attraction in Dorogomilovo District

It's worth seeing a monument situated near moscow Business Center. The monument represents the image of the commander Bagiation, calling on his soldiers to attack. Opened on September 5, 1999. Authors: sculptor - academician Merab Merabishvili, architect - academician Thor. It is an almost exact copy of the monument to Bagration, erected in 1984 in Tbilisi. The main differences are that the Moscow monument is higher and the sword at the monument in Georgia is lowered, while the sword is raised at the Moscow monument. A great way to see the city, but first you have to climb to the top. There are over 100 narrow stone steps which shouldn't be under estimated. Passing on the steps can be quite a challenge.

But once you get to the top the views are great. It is all well fenced in at the top so safe for smaller children and those who might normally feel nervous when it is open and high. The fence allows photos to be easily taken.
