Riyadh Zoo Monument — Attraction in Al Malaz District

My visit to Riyadh Zoo was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all my expectations! The zoo is an oasis in the city, offering an enjoyable and educational experience for visitors of all ages. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by a well-organized and clean environment, showcasing a wide variety of animals from different parts of the world.

The layout of the zoo is thoughtful and easy to navigate, with shaded walkways and resting areas that make the experience comfortable even on warmer days. The animal enclosures are spacious, well-maintained, and designed to mimic the animals’ natural habitats. It’s clear that the zoo prioritizes the well-being of its animals, as they all appeared healthy and active.

What really stood out to me was the diversity of animals. From majestic lions and playful monkeys to colorful parrots and exotic reptiles, the zoo offers something exciting around every corner.

Some staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to answer questions or provide interesting information about the animals. Whereas some staff were not really willing to engage with me and show me around. There are also various shows and feeding times that add an interactive and engaging element to the visit.

The facilities are well maintained, with some dining options offering food and drinks, as well as clean and accessible restrooms. There’s also a small park within the zoo where families can relax and enjoy a picnic. Additionally, at the time of my visit there were no tickets required.

Overall, Riyadh Zoo offers a perfect blend of education, entertainment, and relaxation. Whether you’re a family with kids, a couple looking for a unique date spot, or simply an animal lover, this zoo is a must-visit destination in Riyadh. I left with a deeper appreciation for wildlife and can’t wait to return again soon!

Not enough information on Animals available. It also didnt feel like a zoo since there were no anti reflective glasses, if you are going to use glasses to cage in the animals atleast put in anti reflective ones so people can see properly or use a proper cage. You (The Zoo) also had tropical rainforest animals but yet there was zero effort whatsoever to mimic that particular species environment ("Yea lemme just pick up this bird from a tropical rainforest from somewhere on earth and put it in a dry weather because why not" absolute B.S). The owls had no information on them but atleast you did put them in their environment. Your african adventure had maybe only 5 or 6 species, africa is freaking huge atleast have some variety of that. And I had also noticed that some of the animals were lonely as in there were only 1 of them, it would have made sense if that species was NE (Near Extinct) but these were not and yet they were lonely which was just stupid and insane from you guys. You also had 2 predators next to each other, the bengal tiger next to the white tiger and you could clearly sense the tension between the 2 alpha males and they were only separated by a thin metal sheet thing. The only decent thing there was, was "The aviary". And you shouldnt have to buy food just for the sake of petting elephants. And there were also no horses, you are known for your arabian horses yet no soecies of horses whatsoever. Ridiculous Experience and no effort towards the animals to mimic their environment. And worst of all stagnant water in almost every freaking enclosure atleast do the decency of keeping clear water, there is no harm in putting a water pump so the water stays clean.
