Very helpful and good staff, facilities are OK, clean comfort room, no TV channels options except Saudi channels and BBC. The Gem is basic and small. Swimming pool was closed though when I booked I choose a swimming pool for the children, very disappointed kids 😔. When booked for two adults and two children all I got is a double bed, there was no places for the kids and when asked why they said they don't know and I ended asking for an extra blanket and pillow. another bad incident not affecting my rating for the place but I needed the safe master key since my child accidentally locked it, I had to wait tell next day 9 am as no RS manager available. The parking entrance was soooo tight so if you have a land cruise car you better be a good driver with skills other wise you can't make it to the parking without scratching your car, guaranteed. If you are asking why I put 4 stars not 5 stars .... Because they keep changing the prices I stayed first for 3 nights After arriving at the hotel I asked them the price they told me

But after 3 nights when I wanted to book again the price was very high I asked them why they told that there is a lot demand on the hotel so the prices goes up

I needed one night to stay in Riyadh and chose this place based on the nice modern design pictures. The room I stayed in was tidied up but a closer look revealed hair in the bed, an old stain on the sheets, dusty and dirty rug (not even vacuumed). The toilet had debris in and was not flushed. The toilet towels had an orange-y dirt on them (not stains, but actual debris on them). I communicated with the cleaning staff and they indicated they would take care of it. However, the whole evening no one showed up. I packed my stuff and left the room, and had to book somewhere else for the night. It was too filthy to sleep in. God knows what they didn’t clean that I could not see. Not to mention VERY SLOW WIFI. This is not a clean hotel or client centered hotel. Also they only took $10 off my bill as I checked out (without even spending the night) and complained to them that it was very dirty. Worst...
