Mixed Experience: Amazing Stylists (Abeer) but One Disappointing Encounter (Aisha)

I visited the salon today for two full cuts and blow drys and one just a blow dry. It was a bit of a mixed experience so I wanted to share both the good and the not so good parts.

First, the positives — and there were some real highlights.Let me start with Abeer. She is honestly such a sweet soul, warm, friendly, and instantly made us feel comfortable. She did an amazing job cutting and styling my daughter’s hair, really listened to what we wanted, and made her feel so confident with kind compliments and a beautiful end result. You can tell she genuinely cares about her work and her clients. I would go back to the salon just to book with her again. Highly recommend her.

Also, a big shoutout to Najdah, who did the blow dry for my daughter. She did a fantastic job and my daughter absolutely loved how her hair turned out. Najdah was gentle, professional, and left her hair looking gorgeous and polished. It really added to the whole experience in the best way.

Unfortunately, not everything went smoothly. Our experience with Aisha, the other stylist, was very disappointing. From the beginning she made us feel uneasy. We showed her a photo of the haircut we wanted and clearly said we were fine with a shorter style, but she refused to cut the back and insisted on doing only the front layers. It felt like she did not want to listen or engage with what we were asking for at all. Things got more uncomfortable when she refused to blow dry my sister’s hair and asked two other stylists to do it instead. She kept whispering to them and glancing at us which felt quite unprofessional and awkward. To make matters worse she was even speaking about us to the waiter as they kept staring at us , which was completely inappropriate and left us feeling really disrespected.

I raised my concerns with the receptionist who was very kind and apologised on behalf of the salon. She said she would pass the message on to the manager which I appreciated. In the end we asked for Abeer to cut my sister’s hair and once again she did a fantastic job.

I really hope the management takes this feedback seriously. A salon should be a place where clients feel relaxed, heard, and respected, not judged...

I visited Beauty Care Spa on Tuesday, 1/10/2024, and I had an absolutely wonderful experience with their services.

Moroccan Inspired Hammam: The process started off smoothly with an incredibly easy check-in and changing room experience. The Hammam itself was refreshing, and "Thouraya" provided an excellent scrubbing, focusing particularly on the darker areas that needed attention.

Relaxing Massage: Following the Hammam, I enjoyed a relaxing massage with a therapist named "Rose." It was incredibly soothing, and I felt completely at ease throughout the treatment.

Nail Painting:I then had my nails done by "Eden," who was exceptionally detailed and professional. She made sure every nail was perfect, and I left feeling glamorous.

Hair Washing and Wavy Blowout: Finally, I had a hair wash and wavy blowout with "Nabilah." This was, without a doubt, the best wavy blowout I’ve ever had! My hair looked shiny, wavy, and incredibly attractive.

Overall, my experience at Beauty Care Spa was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating day! I look forward to returning for...

Worst spa experience -No respect to appointment you will come and wait for staff to come -Staff have no product experience -Staff are not professional at all -Instead of relaxing staff kept chatting with each other very loudly -Services are not as they say I booked for salt of the earth pedicure, the mask and scrub was only applied to the leg and not to the feet!!! And no massage was done!!! So I paid for something that didn’t happen and their excuse was the staff was nervous because I was mad! -The management were not helpful at all and instead of apologizing they kept giving excuses and blame me for the staff inability to do her job as it suppose to be! -The prices are not up to the service, results and whole experience -Last thing they force you to wear a protective gown and shoe cover when you come in and the receptionist and manager are not wearing any only the mask I know they may have good overall rating and reviews but most of the 4 and 5 stars are from people with 1 or 2 reviews! Others had similar experience! Anyways that was my experience with them and my honest advice is not to waste your time...
