Crkva Svetog Vasilija Ostroškog — Attraction in City of Belgrade

Church of Saint Basil of Ostrog is located at the edge of the forest, not far from the Sports Center of Banjica, bb Crnotravska Street, the municipality of Vozdovac. Its construction started in September 2002. It is not only a spiritual, but also a national and cultural center of Banjica and people who live in its proximity. Many celebrations are organized there, and the number of church-goers is increasing. The priests are dedicated and helpful, and it is a real pleasure to listen to them. There is a church choir, organized celebrations, and various activities for everyone interested. The church is not finished yet, because frescoes are to be painted inside the church, which will be completed in the future with the help of God and generous parishioners. Peaceful and beautiful even if church isn't finished yet. They need donations for that but church is functional and have regular basis services. Not some grandiose building, but small and cozy place for your spiritual needs, or just to sit and rest, with your thoughts.
