Great Stay – Spacious Rooms, Friendly Staff, and Good Breakfast
I stayed at Hotel Maksimum for five days with my three-year-old daughter, and overall, we had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is nice and located in a convenient area – a quiet part of the city but well connected to the center. The nearest public transport stop is about a 5-6 minute walk away, making it easy to reach downtown Belgrade.
The room itself was spacious and well-furnished. The bed was large and comfortable, and there was a minibar, a small stove, and some basic kitchenware, which can be useful for shorter stays. The bathroom was decent, with a shower cabin that was big enough. The hotel lobby is quite simple, but that didn’t affect our overall impression, especially since the room was very comfortable. We had a very early checkout at 4 AM, and the reception staff kindly offered to prepare a lunch package for us, which was a really nice gesture.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, both at the reception and in the restaurant. Breakfast was included in our reservation and served à la carte. The portions were generous, at least in my opinion. In addition to breakfast, you can order food from the restaurant, with a discount for hotel guests.
All in all, a very pleasant stay and a great option if you're looking for accommodation in this part of Belgrade. I would definitely consider...
Read moreHotel looks very nice, new, rooms are stylish, clean. Receptionists are friendly and helpful. Cleaning during service was very good. The place definitely worth this money. I'd give 5 if not SMOKING in the restaurant.
Restaurant where breakfast is served has non-smoking area. Though even in a non-smoking area I could feel cigarettes or sometimes people smoke there as well. The hotel shouldn't allow smoking in the restaurant at least in the morning when hotel guests are coming for included breakfast. Breakfast itself is a la cart. Celection is OK maybe more for locals. Portions are big, food is good. If you are not keen on greasy heavy fried food and bread ( oily wraps, fried kind of bread in sour and sweet versions) after 2-3 days you may start looking for option. Maybe the hotel will consider it offering some lighter variations without bread, much oil and bacon. Though restaurant staff was very helpful. For example, I asked for some tomato for eggs. The other day asked if ceaser roll could be just a salad. And they did it, the portion was good and salad was nice....

The hotel is cute with a very small entrance and the people at the counter are super friendly.
On arrival I was quickly checked in and shown to my room on the 5th floor. It appears that there are 2 rooms on each floor, which just makes it lovely and quiet.
When you walk in to the room, you're faced with a beautiful setting of architectural genius given the shape of the ceilings.
The kitchenette had all the facilities you need to cook, prepare your own food and have a nice drink on the balcony.
The bedroom is quite large and has a massive 2 person spa which was incredible to just lay in and soak up the warmth. The balcony has smoking facilities and overlooks the homes and buildings nearby.
Located near plenty shops and walking distance to grocery stores and pharmacies right across the road, it makes it a great rest and restore place to stay.
Absolute gem when booking somewhere to stay in Belgrade. Located only 18 minutes from...
