The park of my choldhood. I am so happy it did not change a lot: it still spreads among a few large streets, cutting the concrete and treating pedestrians with a beatiful walk, up/downhill. It is rich with trees, including really old ones, giving shade and clean air even on hot summer day. There are quite a few birds, cats and friendly stray dogs (appearantly cohabitating with people and their pets). Some lucky folks live in more than a few buildings placed on the edges of the park. Some smart architects made large windows and balconies on these buildings. Some lucky and smart people have small, family houses with a yard, making a part of the park. Children love to play here. A few schools and a kindergarden are in the very neighbourhood of the park, so you just cannot miss kids here. I won't spoil the story with a few selfish individuals that somehow managed to get their businesses built in the park. Additionally inconvenience is that Faculty of Forestry and Institute of Forestry are just arround the corner 100 meters away through the street market. All experts on daily basis two times should witness it and obviously ignore it. Shamefull conduct from all responsible people in the city and academic elite. In this country its "new normal"... Nobody gives a demn as for everything else...
Read moreIt's a lovely park, very nice place to hangout with friends during days or nights. It's relatively big so there's room for kids, dogs, and people to enjoy it. There's also a coffee shop that is a bit small during winter but has a lovely open space during warm parts...
