Read moreWe only stayed here for one night. Our room was on the fourth floor and they seemed to have problems with the locks (none of the card keys worked and people couldn't open their doors) we had to go downstairs to the reception and ask for another card. We were with a group and in one of the rooms the card broke and they had to call a locksmith. We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon and the room was boiling hot - outside temperature was 40°C on that day - so we switched on the air conditioning and it cooled down after about two hours. We had to get ready to leave within one hour so that wasn't very helpful. There was dust on all the furniture and the sheets in the beds were torn but seemed clean. One of the towels was torn too and all of them looked pretty used. Don't expect any toiletries or shower caps- it only has the basic hand body hair wash on the wall in the shower and next to the washbasin. The glasses in the mini bar were dirty and the TV didn't work - we didn't bother to call the reception at 10 at night since we were leaving in the morning. The elevator (lift) had a problem and stopped between floors - they had placed a sign warning you about that, in English and in Serbian- all you had to do was press the button and it would start working again. The stuff at the restaurant hall were unfriendly and impolite and even seemed to be angry with the guests on occasions. I wouldn't recommend you pay for dinner or lunch at this hotel as the food is simply horrible. There are many decent places...
Read moreCompletely awful service. No air conditioning in the rooms, NO ELECTRICITY AS WELL. You are expected to stay in a dark room in the temperature of 35 degrees Celsius. Elevators are not working. And this comment applies for 95% of the rooms or even more.
The service desk was HORRENDUS, RUDE and pretentious. Not having a helping attitude and probably awful to all tourists, or at least to the ones who they consider to have an “inf*rior” nationality then theirs which is utterly disturbing and shameful, if you know what I mean. If you are white European maybe they are slightly more welcoming but I’d not count on it.
They lack the capacity to show any empathy or any understanding even. When elderly people above 70 years of age complained about elevators are not working and rooms are on the third floor, the response was “you have hands to carry.” Also they provide no solution, or not even an apology for not being able to provide the service that has been paid such as electricity, air conditioning and a decent attitude.
This “hotel” is the worst accommodation that I’ve ever had, and I cannot express how bad it is. I’d not wish this place even for my worst enemies, I assume it will hunt my dreams for a next few weeks.
Do NOT book here, or abandon all hope when walking in or stay in a street even, would be much better and...
