.. I woke up that morning with a tone of quiet across my mind and body, not the usually super charged, ready to go beat the world at everything I do today Michel .. a little, well sad perhaps , no, not sad, disappointed, dreadfully.. for what is the purpose of this exuberant me ready to challenge and die for art, music and food when everything around me is subdued, substandard , boring, mundane .. it’s really not a challenge all .. and that painstaking truth put a real dampener over my mind, usually full of love, passion and hope .. .. but there was still faith , which is all encompassing in my spiritual and everyday life .. and so faith stepped in to save me from my despair .. .. we have driven past this restaurant with Mandy I think at least 1000 times, it is on our way home from town so you can imagine just how frequently that is , yet NEVER stopped to eat there .. Meticulously laid out white tablecloths, glasses and cutlery which glowed against the dark, wooden beams in the candle light , the ombré mood was set, a totally perfect mirror of mine .. I was taken at first impressions .. We were very nicely welcomed and confirmed that we were here for fresh fish and seafood as that’s all they serve , ‘yes’ I exclaimed to my delight that is precisely what I have come to devour, so he smiled knowingly and proceeded to seat us in a little inside/outside area that had the aura of a little enchanted secret garden in which I could utterly enjoy puffing on my Romeo y Julieta to my hearts content! He brought us the food menu which I quickly intercepted by requesting the wine menu first, for me it’s more what fish will go with my wine not the usual vice versa lol .. and things got so much better , the Louis Latour from burgundy for the very modest price of less that 40 euros! One of the things that makes me mad here in Belgrade is how bad wine is severely overpriced! I have often a time paid a lot of money to be out right poisoned! But anyway that’s another matter apologies for the digression So once the wine was settled, and crisp, dry, wonderfully silky in my mouth, I was already a happy customer .. he suggested we would discuss the menu rather reading through the small print by way of viewing and considering the fish options which he brought on a large tray to our table .. And oh how fresh it was ! Glistening and gleaming from the Adriatic Sea .. but I didn’t want a large fish as Mandy and I cook that at home frequently and I’m sure much more successfully than many restaurants, since we combine our Greek and Jamaican talents in the mix of the same ingredients which we bake until sizzling and crispy outside and perfectly opaque and translucent, succulent inside with white meat that melts in your mouth .. I wanted to start with a fish pate or something mousse based to open my palette and get my digestive juices flowing .. he suggested a prawn tartar which I immediately agreed to as I saw how fresh the prawns were and though I’ve indulged in many a tartar I have never eaten such a delightful prawn version before! The sheer delight on my face when he brought it , even better the joy of happiness as I let the slightly salty caper and tort white meat from the raw shrimp dance around my tongue .. I could feel a little tear creep into my eye that faith dropped down to remind me .. and I was reminded yet once more of how sometimes the best things in life are right in front of you, here this incredible restaurant that I had driven past thousands of times! We later enjoyed some langoustines gently and delicately butterflied and sautéed in an olive oil base and shells from the Adriatic oozing the smell of the ocean and warmed in the Mediterranean extra virgin to which I added only some fresh lemon juice and and drank deep and content, gently from within that magical bowl of her fruits .. We shared some other dishes which were delicious as was the entire afternoon but I describe what to me were the high points, emotional, satisfying and most of all elevating .. thank you Gusti mora, until...

is it possible not to give even one star? overrated, customer service is based on double standard-on how much glitter you show off, on who you are in the local circles and on how much your lips are augmented, on smoking-non smoking double standards, badly done risotto.
So let's go down to the facts: We have been in non smoking area- and table next to us was allowed by waiters smoking electronic cigarettes. Anyone who doesn't smoke knows how much those smell terribly worse than even regular ciggies. The only thing we ever asked the waiter-is this a non-smoking area and how comes somebody next to us is smoking? His reply was just-well it is just 'Electric' cigarette as he vanished in an instance. The same waiter serving us threw plates and everything else on the table without any smile or even asking us later if we would like something else or if everything was ok?! usually when you go to restaurants, waiter gives off a bit of good vibe or at least gives you a decent service for the money you pay. I love Risotto Al Nero Di Sepia and I've eaten it so many times even in Belgrade but this was so bad I could not eat half of it. C'mon man, do not put any onion at all in that risotto! Onion does not belong there. Sauce always goes on the side and not over the top of such a great tuna. Tuna was fresh and nicely seared but that sauce just doesn't go over the top! and the saddest thing is when you hear waiter talking very politely to the other tables and apologizing even for the things they haven't done and than you see you have been treated differently- ok THANK YOU BUT NO THANK YOU - you will never...
