One of the most beautiful beaches of Mahe @ Seychelles.

My best snorkeling experience of Seychelles is at anse royale beach. On the left side by the side of rocks, in the middle as well as on the right hand side, everywhere great snorkeling. Every time you do in water with your snorkeling gear, one gets to see a new variety of fishes. Fishes of all colours, all sizes and shapes! We were snorkeling for the gifts and still could have done more, but for time availability! Of course one needs to go when it's low tide. Snorkeling during high tide may not be a good idea.

While snorkel however, one should be careful not to get crack on your feet due to a few pointed rocjs or dead coral. It may be a good idea to wear fins.

It's very safe beach for swimming. The water is very clean and very calm. On the left hand side there is a small island and one can go up to that point as well. Very scenic beauty.

Must visit beach when in Mahe. And carry your snorkeling gear, look for low tide and last but not the least, have lots of...

One of my favourite beach in Seychelles, We can say all in one beach,,,you can swimming,Running, Fishing, snrokling, taking sun bath here, Close to shore the sand is fine and clear of seaweeds and stones, so standing and swimming is no problem. once you came during low tide, when the water was flat calm and perfect for snorkeling. On one occasion you braved the strong currents of the changing tide to make your way out to Ile de Souris, the little island off of Fairyland. During low tide you can walk through the water to it, but further out there are lots of star fish, sea cucumbers, sea urchins and coral, so be careful where you put your feet.

During high tide, all the big boulders of the beach disappear beneath rolling blue waves and there isn't much room on the sand to keep your things dry. Snorkeling isn't so good at this time, as the waves stir up the sand and make visibility very poor. The swimming is great though! so you...

Beautiful white sand beaches with the cutest tiny white crabs that will come say hi when you’re settled. Once you go into the water though, there may be areas with rocks and corals so it would be useful if you had your “beach shoes” on to avoid hurting your feet. Don’t forget to bring along your snorkling equipment! Oh and the best part, around noon, a lady called Danielle shows up and sets up her stand right outside the beach, with the most delicious pastries: from the savory chili-papaya and veggie quiche to the sweet pineapple, papaya, coconut, and passion fruit pies.

A picturesque crescent shaped beach, one of the prettiest in Mahé. A 7 SCR public bus ride from Victoria will take you there in 30-45 minutes. If you're into public transporting, plan atleast half-a-day for this trip. There are nice restaurants with good food nearby which leads directly into the beach. Must try : The Seafood pizza and Seybrew beer. The beach is quaint and though near the road, not that crowded. Personally, I did not quite like the beach but without a doubt it is one of the beauties I've ever seen.
