Normally, I don't like crowded and somehow 'touristic' places - though being a tourist myself. But the artificial Jezero Jasna is different.
First of all, the surroundings are overwhelming! I wasn't able to stop looking at the majestic mountains in the background. Quite hard to beat, I'd say.
Then, the lake offers a wooden tower for jumpers, some slacklines for... - well, not for me, but a lot of other people, I guess. It offers ice cream, cold beverages, different varieties of coffee, some snacks and, last but not least, toilets in beautifully styled wooden huts. And you can rent a SUP for 6,50€ for half an hour and you'll get a free 'Cockta', a tasty slovene lemonade made of herbs.
So, where's the inevitable "..., but..."? Here it is: We were there on a very (!) hot summer day, and the crystal clear water was still as cold as the 'Cockta' we got. The lake gets its water from a small river coming from the mountains, and they all are cold. You can get used to it, but especially for smaller kids, swimming might be quite a challenge. Our kids still loved the place and hat a lot if fun with their feet (and sometimes the rest of their bodies) in the water for hours. For them, it was no problem there is no playground, but that would make the place even more than perfect.
PS: Parking is free and therefore...

There are 2 slacklines set up on the first lake where the wooden Tower resides. I would not advise bigginers to mess with them to much, you can get hurt if you don't know what you are doing. So ask for assistence.
There are multiple bars and diners around the lake, but you can also have a great picknick with family and friends and you won't regret it.
By the way, I know that some people would like to park their car in the lake, but I advise you to pass the firsr parking space, drive slow for 2 more minutes and there is a big, EMPTY parking space on the first lake. (first lake from the stream is the second for sombody who comes from Kranjsa...
