Hotel Miklic — Hotel in Kranjska Gora

Miklic is an absolute gem! Kranjska Gora is an adorable village in the alps, we stayed for Christmas. We had a big, comfortable room with a sitting area. The location is great, minutes from town centre and ski lifts. The biggest surprise was the food. I definitely recommend getting half board. The value is amazing and it will save you so much money but you will also really enjoy your meals! I was so surprised at the quality of the food. The breakfast was excellent we had eggs, meat, breads, cheeses, cereals etc. Dinner was excellent and 4 courses if you have the stomach for it. There’s a salad bar which was great. The soups are not to be missed, I had onion soup every night because it was so delicious. The mains are an array of vegetarian, seafood and meats. For desserts, the crepes were my favourite. It was wayyyyyy too much food so we usually only had one or two courses. The restaurant is very cozy. There are many guests who religiously stay here and it’s a very friendly atmosphere. The staff are lovely too. We came to Ski and just enjoy the Alps. There wasn’t much snow at Cranska Gora but the beauty of the location is that there is six of the ski resorts within an hour. We drove to Austria two of the four days and had incredible skiing and it was a beautiful scenic Drive. I couldn’t recommend this hotel and town...

A literal slice of heaven. Sadly we were only passing through on our way to a wedding in Italy, but after the way we were treated at this place, we are currently planning a full vacation here. We were greeted by the kindest gentleman at the front, and every single person was so kind and helpful. We got upgraded to a huge suite with two bedrooms and a whole living room because we were traveling with a baby and there was some construction towards the front and they didn't want the noise to wake the baby. They also told us we could leave the car parked there while we went on a little hike after checking out. I was literally speechless at how thoughtful and kind these people were. The place was massive and so charming. The view from all three balconies was straight out of a fairytale. The big red flowers in the window boxes with the mountain backdrop live in my memories, as does the massive breakfast with fresh juices and cheese and more kinds of food than I could even try. The area is also beautiful for walking with lots of charming little shops and restaurants, and some beautiful hikes nearby. People can really make or break a vacation experience, and in this case, the people are the main reason we would do a whole vacation here.I cannot imagine a more perfect place. We cannot wait...

We spent 10 most amazing days in Hotel Miklic and on the very first meeting with the host we were treated with warm heart and that continued for 10 days of our stay. We arrived with 5 month old baby girl and all the staff in the hotel show lovely atitude towards us and our baby girl. The room we got was beautiful and clean with everything you need for the most comfortable stay. Beds were incredible comfortable, the best we ever had opportunity to sleep on, and we traveled everywhere around the world. The breakfast was so good, with variety of options for everyone, that we looked forward for every new morning to come and choose some of the tasty options presented, the staff was asking us every day would we would like an omlet or any kind of egg option you can think of, and it was made quick and it was delicious. Everything presented was freshly made and very tasty! This hotel already won our hearts with the lovely people working in it and we are definitely coming back again! 10/10 THANK YOU...
