Johannesburg Expo Centre — Attraction in Gauteng

Edit 2024 - I visited Comic Con for the first time ever and loved everything about it. It’s very spacious, the gaming and cosplay halls are awesome. I loved the Doritos food truck and limited edition kfc menu as well. I enjoyed my time here 👍🏽👍🏽 I got to cosplay as Miles Morales and saw so many other people dressed as spider man, if you want to see tons of cosplay then comic con should not be missed.

The Rand show has been around for 125 years. I remember going here as a kid and now revisiting it years later it's still pretty good. Lots of different stalls with the army being the highlight. I tried abseiling, sat in a BMW that burnt rubber and drifted around a course. I sat as a passenger in a mini cooper that was racing another mini. I also thoroughly enjoyed the brand new gaming stall where I got to play Mortal Kombat 11 early. If they can keep innovating and adding new attractions it will continue to bring more people. I enjoyed myself. The key word is innovate. A lot of the attractions are still the same. They need to keep adding new and exciting areas like what they did by adding a gaming area or else the Rand show will just become a "been there done that" which is not good....

The Johannesburg Expo Centre is a fantastic location for any large-scale event. I recently attended an expo here, and I was impressed by the sheer size and versatility of the space. Ultra 2019

What an absolutely exciting first time experience!

Everybody that was there just came to let loose and have some fun.

You could see it by the dressing, the relaxed summer look, the individuality expressed by some other outfits not being afraid to fully express themselves and then there were just a hand full including me that were some what overdressed - but I've learned and will be ready for next year!

The drinks and food were limited in variety but definitely served its purpose that kept attendees sustained from 2pm-2am.

The different stages/DJ booths were a sight to be seen especially the main stage, WOW just for the lighting display.
