📍kolonaki Greek Kouzina This is a Greek restaurant with minimalist yet stylish decor. The number of waitstaff indicates that it's quite popular. The dishes are visually appealing and have a decent flavor, with unique sauces that are worth trying. The large fries are a must-try; they're filled with cheese and served with avocado sauce—so delicious that even my aunt could finish them all by herself. The lamb was a bit greasy, and the sauce for the shrimp and seafood pasta is the same, so you might want to order just one of them. When my family mentioned it was my birthday, the staff surprised us with a complimentary dessert and even lit some sparklers. It was such a delightful experience! 📍 Istanbul Kebab Melrose Arch This Turkish restaurant truly captures the essence of a bustling street in Istanbul. It has a laid-back, relaxed, and safe atmosphere. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating and a large staff. The dishes are delicious, and they offer a variety of complimentary side dishes and dips when you arrive. The combination of kebab and flatbread is simply irresistible. This place is definitely worth a visit! 📍 Matsuya Teppanyaki We stumbled upon this Japanese restaurant after seeing its sign. It offers teppanyaki, and the chef is from Thailand. You can sit around the teppanyaki grill. I suspect the owner might be Chinese because the background music consists entirely of Chinese songs, and there's even a "Flowers Bring Prosperity" painting on the wall. The food is decent but not particularly outstanding. There's nothing particularly memorable about it, except for the Chinese-style cucumber salad. 📍 Korean Garden Restaurant When my aunt visited this Korean restaurant, it had just opened, but it quickly filled up with mostly Chinese patrons. Compared to another well-known Korean restaurant, this one is more suited to Chinese tastes, with less sweetness. The dishes are clean and tasty. Walking through the kitchen, you can see the owner bustling about. The fried chicken is crispy and refreshing, and the pork neck is delicious. The restaurant is quite small with limited seating. 📍 The Raj On The Square My aunt enjoys Indian cuisine, especially the various curries served with naan. The classic dish here is probably lamb curry. The naan is garlic butter-flavored and so delicious that you could eat several pieces on their own.
