Ground Zero Bike and Trail Park — Attraction in George

This used to be a great place for kids/teens to come and ride their bikes on the well established pump track. The coffee shop has and continues to create a great environment with good food and coffee. There are many places with good coffee and food and only one place with a suitable track for kids/teens to ride. This has been destroyed by a few who have built jumps at the expense of the pump track. I can not fathom why this was done. Perhaps an owner could comment? Sacrificing the fun of many...

It's a great place to practice jumps ranging from small to large as well as great trails and berms. Recently upgraded with more jumps and a step down too! Brilliant pizza at the coffee shop. Toilets available.

There is a lovely pump track, a network of trails-including a 'downhill' track, a jump line from wooden planks and a small restaurant with bathrooms. You can also hire bikes here, although they won't work out for everyone...

One of the best spots in town - chilled, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Kids can play and run around, dogs meet new friends to wag tails with; plus the food is great, the coffee immaculate and the staff very courteous. Added bonus - the hiking, biking and running trails are all connected to Ground Zero. Definite must, for those visiting; and certainly an immaculate regular spot for lunch for locals.
