George Museum — Attraction in George

What a delightful little museum smack bang on the corners of York street and Courtenay street, in the middle of George. It hosts several themes from wood, dolls, insects, antiques, etc. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It is amazing that such a place operates without charging any fees, but I suppose this approach is also responsible for the decline of the facility, because they aren't receiving any fees from visitors. The museum takes you back in time with some really antique exhibits on display. Some of the history of George is wonderfully illustrated and captured in script, paintings and photographs. A nice way to spend an hour or two exploring and learning with an appreciation for history and the artifacts diaplayed. Upkeep and maintenance of this wonderful building can be improved.
