We had originally planned to play San Lameer but had to cancel due to the weather. Fortunately, we quickly regrouped and headed straight to Southbroom, where we were warmly welcomed by the fantastic team. Their hospitality made us feel right at home.

Read moreAfter hearing and reading good things about SGC I was bitterly disappointed by an experience that was an absolute joke. Paid full price for a course that can be charitably described as a bog. No fences and no marshalls mean players pop up out of nowhere in front of you on the hole you're playing. Ground staff are annoyingly focused on finding and selling balls so that you're being followed by leaf-blowing (no leaves to blow) staff who then also delay your shot by driving up your fairway to try sell you balls. Finally, even though the course is muddy, carts were still allowed and there was a family of five, with kids, ahead of us, not letting us play through and treating the course like a braai social. Read moreBeautiful golf course with spectacular sea views. The first 9 holes are very adventurous but the rest of the course is a bit confusing and not as scenic as the first 9 holes. Overall still a beautiful golf course where nature and golf blends in beautifully with each other, lovely trees and beautiful plants. Saw monkeys, ducks and beautiful birds.
