A delightful, welcoming space where both locals and visitors regularly frequent! Food offering is really good (try their potato salad with thinly sliced fillet ... or the bacon, brie and fig toasted sarmie ... or the trout fritters ... just some of my faves!). Cappuccino's are ever-popular, as are their selection of shakes. Barrie is the hospitable owner and he has a small , friendly team to wait on the tables ... some prettily set under abundant bougainvillea. Holiday season sees the place swell with visitors reconnecting over coffee, a tasty meal, a glass of vino. Service can be slower at these times as they have a small kitchen, compounded by loadshedding challenges, and a chock-a-block cafe` does put pressure on them, but my advice to holiday-makers would be: You're on holiday, just ... chill! Read moreNice little port in the storm (was also getting hangry), was driving down the south coast, restaurants and coffee shops all along our route crowded out or closed, finally, in southbroom, this lovely little shoppe with quaint decor revealed itself to me, the menu, though not throughly vast, was sufficient to satisfy my needs, I ordered the burger, my mother, the trout salad. My burger arrived, a generous amount of cheese slathered on top, my mothers salad, covered in slices of trout. All in all, we enjoyed our repast and filled our bellies. Though we'd give it another bash, We went on Friday last week, I ordered the so called incredible bobotie, it was an absolute disgrace, once again warmed up in the micro, we happened to be sitting next to the kitchen, the portion couldn't have been more than 6mm by 6mm,with about 3 tablespoons of mince.
