This is a relaxing beach away from the crowds who gather at the Hermanus town centre.
And it's worth it.
There's not much parking, but the views are great and you can take a relaxing walk toward the east or west.
It feels free and safe (I saw at least one safety officer patrolling the area). The path is paved so it is possible for a wheelchair user to navigate at least part of the pathway.
Swimming is not recommended because the waves break on the rocks in many areas and there is also a polluted river which empties into the water.
