Fantastic insect museum. It isn’t a big place and it doesn’t have a large collection but what it lacks in those departments it makes up for it with unique displays and hands on experience. It is very children friendly place to bring kids.

장수풍댕이 및 애벌래 실제 만져볼 수 있는 체험과 도마뱀,지네 타란튤란 뱀 등 희귀동물들도 전시되어 있었고 곤충표본 나비 벌 등 다양한 표본들이 매우 아름답다. 또한 식물원 따로 있어 식물들이 나란히 심겨져 있어 공기도 맑고 산책하기 괜찮아 아이들과 가기 좋은 곳이다

초등 저학년까지 가볼만한 곳. 아이들이 너무 좋아하는 장수풍뎅이를 직접 만져볼 수 있음. 근데 약간 곤충들한테 미안한 마음이 드는 건 어쩔 수 없는 듯. 닥터피쉬 체험도 있는데 얘네들이 과식해서 그런지 그렇게 적극적으로 달려드는 것 같진 않음.

볼거리가 풍부한 곳은 아닙니다. 실제 살아 있는 생물을 접할 수 있다는 점, 한밭수목원이나 천연기념물센터 등 주변에 연계헤서 볼거리가 많다는 점, 그리고 무료라는 점에서 크게 아쉽진 않습니다.

아이들을 타겟으로 한 체험전시가 대부분이라 아이가 있는 집이면 근처에 온 김에 한번 들러보는...
