자유로 장월I.C를 통해 진입 파주출판단지와 파주 프리미엄 아울렛에 인접하고 있다. 지혜의숲은 출판도시문화재단이 2014년도에 문화체육관광부의 후원으로 조성, 재단의 자체 재원으로 운영하고 있다. 다양한 분야에 기증 도서를 접할수 있으며, 3개의 건물로 구성되어 있다.1관은 인문 도서의 다양한 연구분야의 기증 도서를 공유하고 열람가능하며, 2관은 출판사 기증도서와 어린이 도서를 열람 및 구매가능고, 커피숍과 독서가 가능한 테이블이 있어 실제 2관에서 주말 많은 방문객을 볼수 있었다. 3관은 게스트하우스(호텔)운영 숙박과 24시간 도서관을 운영하고 있어 휴식과 지혜를 함께 가지고 갈 수 있는 곳으로 보였다. 숙박과 독서에 심취한 분들이 많아 보였다. 주변에는 다양한 출판사 운영하는 전시장,카페가 두루 있어 사계절 방문하여 휴식과 맘을 정화하는데 도움이 되는 장소 인것 같다. 주말에는 사람이 많아 앉을 곳이 없으니 일찍 방문 또는 평일 방문을 하면 좋을듯 했다. 주변 아울렛과 헤이리 문화마믈, 오두산 통일전망대가 있다. 삶에 대한 물음이 생길때 책과 함께...
