I recently visited Jusangjeollidae, and I must say, the view was absolutely breathtaking and incredibly relaxing. The unique rock formations and the stunning coastline create a picturesque setting that captures the beauty of nature perfectly. My kids particularly loved watching the waves crash against the rocks. They were fascinated by the power of the ocean and could have easily spent all day standing there, mesmerized by the rhythmic movement of the water. It’s a great spot for families, as the kids can enjoy the natural spectacle while parents can take a moment to unwind and soak in the scenery. The atmosphere at Jusangjeollidae is peaceful, making it a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether you're taking photos or simply enjoying the sound of the waves, it’s a wonderful experience for visitors of all ages. I highly recommend a visit if you're in the area—you won’t be disappointed by the stunning views and the joy it brings to children and adults alike!

Jusangjeolli Cliff was one of the most impressive natural wonders I visited in Jeju. The unique hexagonal rock formations are truly a sight to behold, showcasing nature's incredible artistry. The cliffs, formed by volcanic activity, offer a dramatic and awe-inspiring coastal view. The area is well-maintained, with clear paths and viewing platforms that provide excellent vantage points for photography. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks adds to the experience, making it both visually and aurally captivating.Despite being a popular tourist spot, it didn't feel overly crowded, allowing for a peaceful and reflective visit. There's also a small park nearby, which is perfect for a leisurely stroll.During June to July, it can be scorching hot, so I recommend wearing a hat or bringing an umbrella to stay comfortable.Overall, Jusangjeolli Cliff is a must-see attraction in Jeju. Its natural beauty and geological significance make it an unforgettable part of any itinerary.

A very quick, small touristy spot. Don’t expect a hike or anything too impressive. Jusangjeolli Cliff is a natural wonder located on the southern coast of Jeju Island, South Korea. It features striking hexagonal basalt columns formed by the rapid cooling of lava as it came into contact with the ocean. The cliffs stand tall, creating a dramatic contrast with the turquoise sea. If you're planning to visit, here are a few things to keep in mind: Jusangjeolli is located in the Jungmun area, near Seogwipo, making it easily accessible from popular tourist spots like the Jungmun Tourist Complex. There's an entrance fee to access the viewing platform, which offers a spectacular view of the cliffs and the ocean. The best time to visit is during high tide when the waves crash against the rocks, creating a stunning visual display. There is a well-maintained walking path around the cliffs, offering different angles and vantage points for photos. The area is family-friendly and accessible for most visitors. However, be mindful of weather conditions, as it can be slippery on rainy or windy days. Nearby attractions include Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls, Yeomiji Botanical Garden, and the International Convention Center. You can easily make a day of exploring the surrounding areas.

What a lovely spot! Apart from the gentle breeze, and the breathtaking sea & sky view, Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff offers a spectacular view of volcanic rock formations created between 250,000 and 140,000 years ago during the Hallasan Mountain eruption. At Jusangjeolli Cliff, visitors can enjoy the charming scenery by walking along the well-built wooden plank road which leads to the edge of the cliff. Do expect some crowd at the lookout point of the observatory platform. The platform is perfectly built for visitors to admire and capture photographs of the beautiful clear sea and rocky cliffs. Besides, the gentle breeze and the relaxing sound of the waves crashing into the side of the cliffs gives a tranquil atmosphere.

Such an amazing place to see a rare sight. For starters, the cliff parking lot is not that big so I really wonder how they manage during peak periods. Regardless, the walk into the site was short and it was only a few thousand won to get inside. You can purchase an entrance ticket at a kiosk or at the counter. Once past the ticket checker, a quick 3 minute walk takes you to the main event: the hexagonal columns. You walk out onto viewing platforms with lots of space for people to view the cliffs and take pictures. To see them in person is even better than in pictures. It's amazing what nature does. After seeing the cliffs, there is more of the site/park to walk with areas to rest, take pictures or just lounge around.

Jusangjeollidae in Jeju, explored in February, was a breathtaking encounter with nature's artistry. The imposing hexagonal basalt pillars, shaped by volcanic activity, presented a stunning sight against the backdrop of the winter seascape. The rugged coastline, accentuated by the crashing waves, added a dramatic touch to the scene. Despite the brisk weather, the geological wonder of Jusangjeollidae was awe-inspiring, offering a glimpse into the island's geological history. Exploring this natural masterpiece during the quieter winter months provided a serene and contemplative experience, highlighting the sheer beauty and raw power of Jeju's coastal landscapes.
