This turned out to be one of my best experiences on Jeju, a surprising authentic gem in the midst of a tourist zone. We came at 1100 for lunch during the low season, so it was not busy. We ate abalone porridge, raw sliced abalone, raw sea squirt (sac-like filter creature you see in aquariums attached to rocks, tastes salty with texture of seaweed), and raw conch (chewy-crunchy texture).
