I came for a massage at the beginning of April. I would like to thank you again for the massage, the excellent service and the unforgettable experience.

As I was only flying to Seoul for a few days, I wanted to find a place where I could definitely book in advance. I found the spa on Instagram and sent them a message. I received a quick reply with prices and an explanation of the different massages and techniques, and I was able to book easily. There are lots of massage options, all lasting about 1.5–2 hours.

I chose the 1.5-hour AROMA deep tissue massage. In early April 2025, it cost 90,000 won in cash or 100,000 won by card.

It was a great, relaxing experience! The atmosphere upon arrival is lovely, and you can choose the scent of the essential oil for the massage. Everything already smells good!

In the massage room, mats are laid on the floor and there is a heated mattress, which is very cosy.

I am also very satisfied with the technique itself and how my wishes were taken into account, and I am grateful to the masseur. She applied pressure exactly where I needed it, and by the end of the session, I had finally experienced some relief in my neck and shoulders. For me, it was a relaxing yet almost painful massage. I specifically asked for more pressure on my neck and shoulders, and for the next few days, I breathed with gratitude, remembering the session.

After the massage, I was also treated to a nice, warm cup of tea. Thank you again for a great experience — the service was excellent, and the masseurs really listened to my wishes.

I will definitely come to you again as soon as I am in Seoul!

I've gotten massages before, but nothing like what I experienced at Aroma Thai Spa. I got the ₩100K package which covered aroma body oil massage (neck, back, waist, thighs, legs, arms, and even up to the upper cleft of your butt 😳), as well as a short hot stone back massage. I was not prepared to be asked to completely get myself nude for this massage, they provide a black mesh underwear for you to put on but you're asked to remove any upper coverings you may have on as well. The massage was soooo well worth the cost; first of all, mine was 1hr45 minutes! The massage doesn't just end once things start to feel good, you really get enough time to enjoy it, second is the masseuse is extremely professional, strong, and skilled, and third is the great service from the staff. At the end of my massage, I was given a cup of tea, small sweet dessert, and a juice carton on top.

Would highly highly recommend this establishment if you're looking to get a massage. There were also packages as low as ₩70K if you need something more budget friendly, either package you get I'm sure you won't be dissapointed. Make sure to bring enough cash with you as you get a discount, otherwise you can pay full price with your card.

In case you have trouble finding the place, once you arrive at the destination the parlor is not on the ground floor where you arrive but sort of "underground". You'll see stairs leading downstairs with the store's signs around so just follow the stairs and it'll lead you there.

in Mapo-gu, tucked in a lower ground floor area below Sweet Buns, Sweet Coffee cafe you will find Aroma Thai Spa that offers various kind massages that will relieve your body pains from all the walking and sightseeing. The sweet and accommodating owner will show you choices and scents of oil you can choose from. After selecting from the presented massage type you are then led to a room, given with disposable underwear and couple of hanged robes you can chose from. FYI, just a suggestion when you are asked if strong or medium I would say medium because they will dig with elbows. And ensure that the masseuse understands the part you want them to focus on because they will just go by their routine, even though you draw from the paper given to you. And if going as a couple, either you ask for separate rooms or advise the owner to tell the ladies no talking, cause they will, so you can truly relax. We paid 220,000kw for 1hr 45 minutes couple massage with hot stones. My husband and I enjoyed a cup of buckwheat Tea and dark chocolate that came complimentary after your massage.
