DMZ Tour Korea — Local services in Seoul

Probably the worst tour I've done in 38 countries. A main thing to consider is that the Joint Security Area (JSA) has been closed since that US Soldier crossed over into North Korea. Especially without being able to cross over ever so temporarily, this tour is a total flop. One would be far better served touring in Seoul, Incheon, Juju Island, etc. We had a great time everywhere else. Also, I have two videos of the tour guide bothering me and refusing to leave me alone. I literally had to tell her several times to leave me alone. She got offended and defensive when I fell asleep on the bus during part of her talk and when I later pointed out to her how stupid it was to not check for passports before boarding the bus. After we each explained our perspectives, I told her I didn't accept her weird excuse as to why they check for passports AFTER you're already on the bus and way down the road and she just couldn't handle it. As far as I'm concerned, I wasted a whole day on this tour. There's nothing worthwhile to see on this tour in my opinion, plus I don't need to be hassled over Mickey Mouse stuff while on vacation, as if the tour...

I feel bad, I don’t remember the name of our tour company, so I took a chance on this one. That aside, this was one of the coolest experiences that I ever went on. Seeing this area was very.special. You leave the hotel around 7:00 AM and head to a meeting point for a half hour while others join. Then you are off for the day. Our guide was very easy to understand as he had a slight Australian accent. He was filled with facts about South Korea, that were captivating to hear. He shared as much as you could take in. The only photos that we were allowed to take, once we reached the DMZ were in just one spot that you can see on the highway. The train near the border was all shot up as we didn’t want to leave it for the North Koreans at the time. Being able to actually gaze in to North Korea was breathtaking and creepy at the same time. It was a once in a lifetime feeling. Going into the NK dug tunnel with hard hats. It was 55 degrees Farenheit cool down there. We walked about a 1 mile walk straight down a steep walkway, I was a bit short of breath coming back up, but I would definitely do it again! You need to experience...
