its a simple guard house type information centre, the park ranger can speak a little English. Definitely a must to get a map, bukhansan trails can be confusing. Took three hours to reach the peak and back to the info centre at the max speed i can go. Started at 3pm and finished at 6pm. As a person who has done full length marathons and have climbed Mount Kinabalu, my advice is do not underestimate the potential danger and risk of injury in the advanced level path. There are 3 levels, beginner, medium and advanced. the advanced path can be very rocky and very steep in some sections. Stamina and experience in hiking (knowing how to find footing, posture of legs, the right shoes, etc.) is a must for advanced trails. Beginners should take the easy trails...

It's really impressive here where there's many routes to the different peak. In the weekend you can see many people climbing up and down from morning to early evening. Just take note if you climbing alone, as much as possible don't take the advanced or expert way up unless you met so e ahjummas or ahjussi whom you can tag along as it is dangerous and normally you don't see anyone climbing up these paths. Only people going down. The cat mountain at 505m and the peak are two areas you...

Navigation is obvious and the trail/terrain is pretty easy. The views from the top are definitely...

Lovely place and very exciting trail. From Gupabal Subway station, there are bus available which will take close to National park. Many restaurants at the base.
