Excellent interactive museum that offers a deep insight into traditional Korean medicine. Explanations are available in English, which makes the visit very accessible.
The museum also offers 20-minute outdoor foot baths, perfect for relaxing after a long day of walking — all for a very reasonable price. Practical tip: register for the foot bath as soon as you arrive, since advance reservations are not possible. Avoid the baths in the middle of the afternoon in August, though, as it gets too hot to enjoy them properly.
We also had the chance to dress up as Joseon-era nurses behind the reception. The costumes are loaned for free for 2 hours.
After the museum visit, you can stop by the on-site café-restaurant, which offers a lunch menu and healthy drinks. To round off the day, a stroll through the nearby traditional medicinal herb market is the perfect way to immerse yourself even further in Korean wellness culture.
All in all: a fun, cultural, and relaxing visit that I highly recommend. A truly underrated museum that deserves much more...

Read moreI didn't plan to find here but accidentally run into it. It was a great experience and I can recommend it if you are in the neighbourhood! The entrance is very affordable and you can also get a massage, foot bath or create your own bath salt for some small fees. I had no wait times on a Sunday afternoon.
I tried on traditional clothing (free after entrance) and explored the museum. They have QR codes with English explanations and interactive screens with an English option as well. I only tried the massage (machine operated + warm eye mask + hand massage with herbals/cream) because I didn't have enough time to try more but I felt...
