이곳은 대한민국 최초로 스테인드글라스가 공공시설의 설치된 곳이기도 합니다. ‘런닝맨’ 이라는 tv프로가 눈꽃광장에서 촬영을 하고있어서 조금 놀라긴했습니다. 이곳에는 Korean craft 라는 조선시대부터-근대-현대를 통틀어서 왕실기념품 뿐만아니라 공예품을 전시해놓았습니다. 스테인드글라스는 교회나 성당에만 설치되야만 한다는 편견을 깨고 일반적인 미술로 관객들에게 의미를 줍니다. 당산철교에 한국을 주제로 한 벽화도 만든 화가로서 서울역 천장을 강강술래를 주제로 한국적 정서를 줍니다. 조광호 신부는 화가로도 활동중입니다. 한가지 작품을 보면서 아쉬움점은 작품은 윗부분만 빛이 투과되어 적은 빛이 들어오기 때문에 스테인드글라스에 가진 매력을 느끼지 못한것이 너무나 아쉬운점 입니다. :ㅣ 조광호_꽃과 별과 바람의 시(2004)
