Dipirang is a night walking course filled with various lights. Of course, you should pay some fee for entrance. Frankly speaking, I was disappointed and couldn't recommend you to visit Dipirang. I have gone to the Lunafall in Jeju, South Korea. In comparison with Lunafall, Dipirang's lights was very simple and especially downtown's lights of Tongyoung interfered our night sightseeing. Also staffs was seemed like little bit annoyed and unkind. Additionally, in spite of paying for entrance fee, you could pay additional money for parking if you go to Dipirang before 7pm.

A rather perplexing form of ‘entertainment’ which doesn’t really hit the mark. Perhaps children will appreciate it but adults will likely find it mawkish and lacking in substance. The music and animations don’t have any cohesive or likeable thread and it feels beyond kitch. Don’t get me wrong, light installations and cute characters have their place but this didn’t have any memorable moments. The entrance fee is really excessive too which leaves you feeling like you are rather foolish 😅

밤에 가는 공원. 포토존이 많은 공원. 인스타용 공원. 그러나 통영 놀러왔다면 한번 가보는 것이 좋겠다. 그래도 볼거리가 꽤 괜찮다. 빛과 레이저를 이용하여 공원 산책로를 하나의 공연으로 연출했다고 생각하면 좋다. 어둠속의 대화 같은 주고받는 느낌의 공연과도 흡사한 면이 있다. 어두운 숲에 흩뿌려지는 보라색 레이저가 환상적이다. 사진으로는 그 느낌을 담아내기 어렵다. 남자아이가 일행에 있다면 반드시 좋아할 것이다. 아무튼.. 가끔은 가면 힘든 거 아는데 그래도 가야 되는 곳도 있는가 보다. 나는 여기서 수많은 아기 어린이를 안고 업고 유모차끌고 산 둘레 오르막 산책로에서 고군분투하는 많은 젊은부부를 볼 수가 있었다. 그만한 가치가 있다. 두번 올 가치는 글쎄 있을까...? 나는 한번 왔으니 됐다. 내가 보기에 중요한 사항으로 공연의 질과 기다리는 시간의 트레이드오프를 잘 생각해야 한다. 첫 번째 사진에 노을이 지는 남망산공원 사진을 보자. 저 시간대가 아마 8시쯤 됐을 것인데 저때 도착했다면 일단 한시간 줄 선다고 생각하면 된다. 내가 다 보고 나올 때가 9시반이었는데 그때도 40분 정도는 기다려야 하는 줄이 있었다. 늦게가면 이렇게 오래 기다려야 한다. 대신 아주 어둡기 때문에 사진과 레이저 쇼가 더 환상적이다. 오픈시간인 7시입장을 위해 6시반쯤 가서 기다린다면 줄은 덜서고 쾌적하게 구경할수있지만 날이 밝아서 레이저 맛이 제대로 안날것이다. 내 생각에는 좀 늦게와서 오래 기다리고 어두운 것을 보는 게 그래도 오는 목적에 맞는거같다. 디피랑=남망산조각공원 이므로 내비게이션 위치를 헷갈릴 필요 없다. 주차장 잘되어있어서 주차 스트레스 별로 없다. 다만 밤에 산을 이동하는 것이므로 모기기피제 등을 잘 바르는 것이 좋고 편한 신발을 신는 것이 좋다. 이거 기획한 공무원은 큰 상 받아야된다고 이야기하면서 하산했다. 재밌었다.
