Supermercado Wenzhou — Attraction in Alicante

An excellent Asian supermarket in the heart of Alicante City. They have a wide range of fantastic products from China, Japan, Korea etc. Sauces, pastes, spices, oils, fresh produce, frozen produce, and much more. The staff are very helpful and friendly if you need any explanation. My partner is Japanese and we go their regularly from our mountain pueblo to buy lots of fine ingredients we cannot source anywhere else, and their prices are good. Having arrived from Singapore in Spain almost 7 weeks ago, my craving for Asian food made me checked out this shop. To my surprise, they not only carry Chinese foodstuff, they also sell Japanese, Korean and Indonesian products. Finding a nearby spot to park your car is impossible. If you cook any Asian cuisine at all this store is a god send. Thai, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese.. a complete range of spices, sauces, oils, curry paste, noodles and more. Canned, jarred, pickled, frozen, dry.. friendly staff. If you can't find something ask.. as today, I wanted a jar of kimchee.. couldn't find it in the normal area. No worries. They had freshly made kimchee in the cooler.
