I actually quite liked this beach - clean and close to the city. There are lots of eateries around if you don't want to bring your own food for your beach day. There is absolutely no shade so you need to BYO shade! The water is so refreshingly cool especially after being in temperatures of 38-40 degrees (I was here at the end of July). Pebbles rather than sand. Just a short bus ride from my hotel in the city so great location.

Very nice beach but people just leave their trash behind on the beach. No responsibility, no respect. Can't blame this just on the guiris or teenagers. I see plenty of locals, including families, who walk away when finished, leaving their plastic trash on the beach to blow away into the sea. Very, very sad. No wonder the children and teenagers don't clean up after themselves when they see their parents doing the same.

Como todo el litoral español en esas fechas.

Un rincón perfecto para disfrutar del Mediterráneo

La Playa del Zapillo es uno de los mejores lugares para disfrutar del mar en Almería. Su amplia extensión de arena fina y sus aguas tranquilas la convierten en un destino ideal tanto para familias como para quienes buscan relajarse.

Lo que más destaca es el paseo marítimo, lleno de vida, con bares, restaurantes y zonas para hacer deporte. Es perfecto para pasear al atardecer o disfrutar de una cena frente al mar. Además, la playa cuenta con servicios muy completos: duchas, aseos, acceso para personas con movilidad reducida y áreas para practicar deportes acuáticos.

La limpieza de la playa es notable, y el ambiente es tranquilo, ideal para desconectar. Si visitas Almería, no puedes dejar de pasar por la Playa...
