Heladería La India Playa — Restaurant in Almeria

We arrived at 3 30 pm today Sunday 5 May 2024. We asked for the menu and were given one sheet of paper between 3 of us. We waited for someone to take our order. At 3.50 I called a guy over who was serving the next table. When I started to give him our order he told me the kitchen was closed. He was very rude, no apology or anything. If the kitchen was closed, why were we given a menu. How did people the other side of us receive their order a few minutes before we were told this. I can only assume that as we are English we were not welcome. Very bad for a restaurant to be prejudiced if that is the case. My recommendation is to not go to this place as we will never step foot in there again - and we are not tourists!...

After our swim on the beach my friend and I had lunch here and it was very delicious. I tried shark for the first time! I was a bit nervous but you know what it was tasty. All the tapas was tasty (pork, octopus, fries, fish). Service was a bit slow though and they weren't that busy but it was a very hot day (I think the temperature on this particular day was close to 40°C). Great location as this place is right by the beach. They also sell ice cream and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. I'd eat here...

(no lo borres mas sinverguenza) LOS DOS ENCARGADOS ME AGREDIERON AGRESIVOS Y SINVERGUENZAS,pedi una tostada .Nada mas en la puerta ya me hablaron mal , dentro me trataron como si fuera un pobre que no podia pagar una simple tostada .Despues de pedirle la tostada , me la da confundida y con muy mal aspecto . Se lo comunico al camarero con educacion , a lo cual entra el encargado del local decia el, Fran, diciendome que pasara dentro echo una furia, y me dice aver ati que te pasa, y me dice vete de aqui que te voy a dar un tortazo , le pedi la devolucion del dinero y me echaron del local juan y fran los encargados , 150 metros mas adelante me tiro fran un cafe a la espalda . Y juan me faltaba el respeto aun con la policia en su local, sinverguenzas totales. Estan denunciados , y la policia no ha hecho nada . Son unos sinverguenzas de mucho cuidado , no recomiendo pisar por alli, igual que mo lo hacen ami se lo hacen a un señor mayor. Y tambien una chica me dijo que se megieron con su madre y al defenderla ella, con ellq tambien, eso con Fran les paso me dijo. Deberian cerrar Son tan inteligentes que agreden a sus propios clientes, os voy a dejar la reseña toda la vida. Y agredeced que no llqmo a la radio o subo el video negandome la hoja de reclamaciones en youtube, vacíletas que sois muy vqciletas con los años que teneis ya, aver si...
