⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️Be careful. There are some very brazen thieves working in the parking lot of this attraction in a blue Renault Arkana with the number 0306 MWB. They are a couple, a man and a woman. We read about them in the reviews about the parking lot and immediately encountered this. As soon as we arrived at the parking lot, they drove up and stood very close. But since we were talking to friends on a video call, we continued to sit in the car and they pretended to be sitting in their phones looking at us. This lasted for about 7 minutes. Then we decided to check what they would do next and moved 50 meters to the other side of the parking lot, after 20 seconds they moved and stood point-blank behind our car. Then a white car with tourists arrived and these thieves immediately drove up and stood next to them as if there was no free space, although the entire parking lot was absolutely free. The tourists got out of the car and these thieves immediately jumped out and began to pretend to take pictures. She stood against the backdrop of a scary green fence and he allegedly photographed her leaning on the tourists' car, and both of them looked around and peered into the car. Then we drove closer and gestured to the thieves that we were recording everything. Then we started to drive away and the thieves got into the car and drove away too. We returned 10 minutes later, the blue car with the thieves was not in the parking lot, but we saw it in the distance along the road. And as soon as we drove into the parking lot, they immediately drove up to us and began to gesture quite aggressively for us to get out. We had to drive away again so that they would not damage our car. I am attaching photos of these thieves and their car! Be careful. They act very brazenly. The place is probably very beautiful and photogenic, but the fact that it is not at all landscaped and has no cameras attracts thieves. Do not take things with you and do not leave them in the car. The authorities would like to advise paying more attention to the safety of tourists, because such situations greatly spoil the impression of the island and the...
Read moreA very easy and nice stop close to the main highway leading to Las Americas / Los Cristianos. I do recommend to stop by if you have 30 minutes to spare. It is a relaxing place away from crowds where you can appreciate the creations of our Mother Earth. Be careful as the paths are not marked and the terrain is rough - not good for flip flops. I would recommend to walk a circle around the arch as ti gives you the best views and also takes you to the information chart where you can read some interesting stuff and get educated :-) What I would not recommend is to walk over the arch... First of all, you want to protect it and second of all, one day... it will break, and you do not want this to happen... to...
Read moreArco de Tajao is a stunning natural stone arch sculpted by volcanic activity and erosion over thousands of years.
Reaching the arch requires a short walk from the parking area, but be prepared for uneven and rocky terrain. Wearing proper footwear is advisable, as the path can be slippery, especially after rain.
Once there, the arch provides a fantastic photo opportunity. It was very peaceful when I visited, seemed a bit overlooked by tourists.
A few tips: avoid visiting during windy conditions, as the area can be quite exposed. Also, ensure your vehicle is securely locked and valuables are hidden, as the parking area is...
