Parque Torre Leonera — Attraction in Benahavís

Porque torre leonera (Benahavis) - This park is wonderful, it is very well kept, it has lakes, a children's playing area and even a small amphitheater. Wonderful setting to enjoy the summer and take a picnic. This park has an important historical Arab watch tower hence the name Tower Leonares which was once used to control access to the Valley of the River Guadalmina. The park is well manicured with beautiful plants & trees. It also has a small open air theatre, also there is a small children’s park that is very safe with toilet facilities. When we arrived I thought we were at the Forbidden Garden of Eden. The colours of the flowers and the birds tweeting felt like I belonged to that place. It's clean and so peaceful. I would totally recommend to spend the day there. One advice. Don't smoke inside the park. I didn't realised until I read the sign at the main entrance saying it in Spanish.
