Absolutely Appalling – Avoid at All Costs If I could give zero stars, I would. After completing over 62 escape rooms, I can confidently say this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had — and that’s saying something. We booked and paid for the room a full day in advance. When we showed up (after a two-hour round trip), nobody was there. No staff, no signage, no explanation. Just a locked door. We had even been in communication via text beforehand, but they suddenly claimed to be unaware of our booking — a booking they had taken payment for and confirmed by email. They were quick to take our money but left us completely in the dark, both literally and figuratively. It wasn’t until we repeatedly messaged them that they finally responded — and even then, it took three days to get our refund. To make matters worse, because they take prepayment, there’s very little recourse when things go wrong. We were left stranded with no apology, no explanation, and zero accountability. The lack of professionalism and basic customer service is genuinely appalling. I had seen a few negative reviews beforehand, but gave them the benefit of the doubt — clearly a huge mistake. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. There are countless escape rooms that actually value their customers. This is absolutely not one of them. We would recommend the escape room in Benidorm called: *Escape Room Benidorm - Paradox* ***In response to the owners reply*** Let’s Stick to the Facts In response to your attempt to downplay or misrepresent the situation, I’ve attached screenshots of our full message exchange — because transparency matters. As anyone reading them will see, there was no apology, no accountability, and no effort to resolve the issue professionally. Just be clear we never spoke over the phone and only communicated via WhatsApp. I hope you take this as an opportunity to reflect on how you handle customer service, because your actions were not just inconvenient — they felt shady. It took me three minutes to pay you via a transfer, but after being left outside a locked building with no warning, it took three days and multiple messages to get my money back. That’s not acceptable. You were fully aware of the booking — you made it, sent a confirmation, and took payment — and yet you didn’t show up. I clearly explained I was only looking to refund because of your no-show, not because of any change of mind on my part. To add to the frustration, you refunded me in euros a day after I had returned to the UK, causing further complications. Let the screenshots speak for themselves. Feel free to point out where exactly you apologized or took any real responsibility — because I certainly can’t find it. A fair rating for the experience we had based on doing 62 other escape rooms including the one in Benidorm that we recommended which was brilliant!! Save the hassle and give this one a miss!!

I booked this last minute and they managed to accommodate us on the same day. We have done around 20 escape rooms and this one (The Curse of The Jaguar) was definitely one of the best - the rooms are amazing, it is like being on the set of a film. So much effort has gone into creating the rooms. We had an amazing time and the lady who was hosting us was really nice too.
