Wednesday / Sunday markets
Benidorm outdoor market is held twice a week (Wednesday and Sunday) on waste ground near the Servigroup Pueblo Hotel at C. Ibiza, 17, 03503. The market opens at around 9am and closes at about 1.30pm. The market opens on red days (bank holidays) and remains open on Christmas day (not all stall holders). We recently visited the Sunday market at around 10am. The market was very busy and there was a long line of mobility scooters parked up in the street near to the market. There were at least 10 rows of stalls selling bags, shoes, belts, perfume, jewellery, cosmetics, toys, souvenirs, household items and clothes (both new and preloved).
There were also lots of stalls selling fresh fruit and vegetables. Within the market there were various cafes / snack bars to enjoy cooked breakfasts, snacks and drinks with outside seating areas. The prices were excellent, lots of items were clearly priced and some stalls even took credit card payments. There are also many clothing stalls selling low quality but cheap clothing and others selling shoes and kitchen utensils. There are also toilets and food and drink stalls with seating.
