It's absolutely beautiful. Amazing view, and with good weather you also have a wonderful view of the coastline (June '24).

Walking down the hill, then 241 steps up and vice versa, can be a challenge, especially in the heat. So come prepared with good shoes and something to drink/eat (nothing to eat/buy at the top, only at the start).

It's free but you have to get a ticket online to reserve you a spot to keep the influx of tourists manageable.

A very impressive place with a great view of the ocean and the coast! The path itself is a special and wonderful experience.

TICKETS OP VOORHAND RESERVEREN, is gratis maar vol = vol en dan kom je voor niets. Wij hadden geen tickets, kwamen aan om 12:45. De vrouw van het informatie centrum zei ons te wachten tot 13:00 om te kijken of er online nieuwe plaatsen vrijkomen. Zo is het ons toch gelukt nog een ticket vast te krijgen op zondagmiddag.

Het is wel een heel mooi uitzicht dat je hebt! De moeite waard om te doen (met goede schoenen!! En liefst geen kapotte kniegewrichten)

Er zijn verschillende parkings waar je kan parkeren, 2 gratis en 1 betalend. De betalende is wel vlakbij. Eens je er bent moet je eerst langs het controlepunt (naast het restaurant) je ticket laten controleren en dan kan je doorwandelen. Let wel op, het is een pittige daling! De weg is niet gevaarlijk, alles zijn stenen maar het is wel verschrikkelijk stijl. Er zijn verschillende rustpunten waar je op blokken kan zitten om uit te rusten. Eens je helemaal beneden bent, heb je een klein vlak stukje en dan moet je terug naar boven klimmen om naar top te gaan waar de san juan staat. Geen werkend toilet beneden, wel aan het infocenter bij het startpunt.

Je kan in het complex naast het startpunt wat drinken of als je verder doorloopt heb je een restaurant. Daar kan je gegrilde kip, kroketten, frietjes, vis, salade, dessertjes... eten. En niet zo duur: 6 kroketten €6.9,...
